Commitment Packages & Follow-Up Sessions
For counselling to be effective, consistency and engagement are essential.
Clients agree to an initial commitment of three weekly sessions, as recommended. Counselling is a collaborative process and cannot be approached on a “see how it goes” basis.
Following these initial sessions, a free 30-minute follow-up conversation is included to review progress and discuss ongoing needs. After this, session frequency may be adjusted according to what feels appropriate for you.
In cases of emergency or risk to self or others, you agree to discuss and provide consent for the involvement of relevant family members or key support persons if necessary. Emergency sessions may be booked subject to availability.
PSYCH-K® Facilitation
For deeper belief-change work, sessions are generally recommended weekly or fortnightly. However, you remain free to choose the pace and spacing that feels right for you.
There is no expiry date on PSYCH-K® packages.
The Therapeutic Relationship
Counselling and coaching are professional relationships that exist only within scheduled sessions.
The purpose of the work is to support awareness, insight, emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and conscious life choices. This may include exploring relational patterns, emotional experiences, mindset, behaviour, and goals.
Life coaching may involve exploration across areas such as work, finances, health, spirituality, relationships, education, and recreation. You acknowledge that all decisions, actions, and implementation remain your sole responsibility.
Counselling vs Coaching
Life coaching is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or psychiatric care. It does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association.
If therapeutic or medical support is required, appropriate referrals will be offered.
Coaching must not be used as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or substance-misuse treatment.
Responsibility & Accountability
You acknowledge that counselling, coaching, and facilitation are not a replacement for professional advice of any kind.
You agree to seek appropriate support for medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other professional matters when needed.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, you agree to inform them of your decision to engage in life coaching services.
All outcomes, choices, and changes arising from sessions remain your personal responsibility.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal information is treated as confidential and stored securely in accordance with GDPR regulations.
Confidentiality may only be broken where required by law, including concerns relating to serious risk of harm, safeguarding, or court order.
Certain material may be discussed anonymously in professional supervision for ethical, learning, or consultation purposes.
PSYCH-K® Facilitation (Adjunct to Psychotherapy)
PSYCH-K® is limited to working with subconscious beliefs.
Its purpose is to support the mind–body’s natural self-regulating processes and is intended to complement — not replace — medical or psychological care.
PSYCH-K®:
does not provide medical diagnosis
does not treat or cure illness, disease, or psychological disorders
does not replace professional medical or mental health care
does not create a doctor–patient relationship
You understand and agree that while belief change may support life experience, the responsibility for how your life unfolds remains entirely your own.
